Press facilities in the RAI in Amsterdam
The Amsterdam RAI has a number of facilities for the specific use of media representatives. A summary is provided below.
ACCREDITATION in 2009 in a different press room: near Hall 7
The Amstelhal press room (hall 7) next to entrance R is in use during the International Horti Fair. Accreditation takes place in the press room during the fair and you will receive a press badge, extensive press briefings and an exhibition catalogue. The press badge allows you to visit the exhibition and related activities, such as the Horti Fair Happy Hour. In general, the badge will also entitle you to attend exhibition congresses and seminars, although it is advisable to check this in the press room. Press badges are not sent in advance.
OPENING TIMES PRESS ROOM
From Tuesday 13 October to Friday 16 October inclusive, the press room in the Amstelhal will be open from one hour before the exhibition opens until one half hour after it closes.
The opening times of the International Horti Fair are from 10.00 to 19.00 hours on all days.
WORK FACILITIES
The work facilities in the Parkhal press room include computers with internet access, laptop connections, a printer, fax and telephones. In addition, wall units have been cleared to provide space for press briefings from the organizers of the fair and exhibitors. Valuable equipment, such as cameras and portable computers, can be given to the hostess in the press room for safekeeping. There is also an (unsupervised) cloakroom.
DIGITAL PRESS ROOM
You will find all the press information under the News button at HYPERLINK “http://www.hortifair.nl” www.hortifair.nl, ubder the Media button you will find the logos and photographs of the previous edition. There will also be up to the minute photographs of the exhibition during the Horti Fair, which you can download in high resolution. Press releases in English, and also in German, French, Italian and Spanish this year, can be downloaded at www.hortifair.com/press.
ILLUSTRATION MATERIAL
The Press & PR department arranges for coloured photographs to be taken of important events at the trade fair or exhibition. General views are also taken. You can see these photographs and order them in the press room. Images can also be downloaded before the trade fair. See the above paragraph.
