Nominations Horti Fair Innovation Award 2010 announced

Aalsmeer, 8 September 2010 – Ten new products are candidates to win this year’s Horti Fair Innovation Award, for which they have been nominated by the international jury of experts that assessed all new products and services registered on time for the coming Horti Fair. The Horti Fair is being held in Amsterdam from 12 to 15 October inclusive this year and the exhibitor who has won the prestigious honour will be announced on the first day of the event.

Preview looks successfully ahead to Horti Fair 2010

,,New products and services, doing concrete business and exchanging professional knowledge: that is what the coming Horti Fair is all about,’’ concluded international journalists during the trade press and new products preview for the Horti Fair 2010. Twenty participants presented a selection of their new products to give the representatives of the horticultural media an early look ahead to the international horticultural exhibition being held in Amsterdam from 12 to 15 October inclusive. Wim van der Loo, the managing director of the Horti Fair described the highlights of the coming show, like the Horti Fair Stage.

Horti Fair 2010 is high yield trade show

The Horti Fair 2010 in the Amsterdam RAI in the Netherlands from 12 to 15 October inclusive is again promising to be a high yield trade show for visitors and participants alike. The International Horti Fair is the most complete of horticultural trade shows, due to the strong group of participants, special interest pavilions, extra activities, dedicated focus on innovations and a relevant theme: ‘Earning sustainably’. Trade visitors – and there were more than 34,000 of them from all over the world in 2009 – are admitted free of charge via www.hortifair.com/tickets.

Horti Fair Innovation Award highly regarded component of innovation programme at trade show

The competition for the prestigious Innovation Award is the culmination of the Horti Fair innovation programme, which has been extended this year. By doing this, the International Horti Fair is underlining its platform function for the introduction of new products and services in (greenhouse) horticulture. All participants can take part and it is an important motive for all visitors to come to the exhibition in the Amsterdam RAI from 12 to 15 October inclusive this year. The international jury will announce the prize-winning innovation on the first day of the exhibition and the winner receives a media cheque for
€ 5,000.00 presented by the Horti Fair and Reed Business, as well as the honour and tremendous publicity.

The Netherlands’ biggest international trade fair is being held in the Amsterdam RAI from 12 to 15 October inclusive this year. The House of Technology & Innovation special interest pavilion (stand number 04.0226) is being organized at the Horti Fair for the fifth time in 2010.

Horti Fair House of Quality: presentation of top quality in wide range with extra focus on new products

With upwards of 1,000 different entries of flowers and plants anticipated again, the Horti Fair House of Quality once more promises to be a top presentation by growers from every continent. They are aiming for the highest score to have a chance of winning the Interpolis Quality Cup and are showing a wide range of products at the greatest judging event for flowers and plants in the world. The House of Quality is a very highly regarded component of the International Horti Fair, being held in the Amsterdam RAI from 12 to 15 October inclusive this year. The approximately 200 members of the VKC Permanent Judging Committee will be paying special attention to new products in 2010.
